The UNESCO Regional Office in Dakar released a report in June 2016 providing insights on general trends in Sub-Saharan Africa (SSA) concerning education planning contexts and processes to inform, discuss and reflect upon the capacity of countries in integrating the SDG4-Education 2030 targets into national education planning processes. The report of the SDG4 – Education 2030 Country Readiness Survey in Sub-Saharan Africa is based on a survey jointly conducted by UNESCO Dakar and the regional team of the UNESCO Institute of Statistics (UIS).
