Call for applications for the IIEP Specialized Course Program online course "Using Data and Information for Crisis-Sensitive Educational Planning

 

Please find here the information note for the IIEP Specialized Course entitled "Using Data and Information for Crisis-Sensitive Education Planning," which is scheduled for January 12-March 18, 2022, fully online and in French. This specialized course is intended for experienced technical staff and policy makers in ministries of education, as well as professionals from humanitarian organizations and development partners directly involved in the organization, planning and management of education, particularly in contexts of displacement.

At least three years of professional experience in areas related to educational planning and management (e.g. HR, school mapping, project management, statistics, learning assessment, etc.).
Bachelor's degree or equivalent, preferably in a field related to education, economics, sociology, demography, statistics.
Actual or anticipated participation in national work on crisis-sensitive education planning and/or education in emergencies.
Fluency in French (ability to read, write and speak fluently).
Good computer skills in Microsoft Word and Excel.
Availability to continue working for the next five (5) years, preferably in the public service, if applicable.
